Ukraine Update from Medical Team: April 2, 2022

The team continues to report God’s faithfulness, peace and direction. They are now out of Ukraine and spending time in Budapest before checking in at the airport. Once again, they will fly from Budapest to Istanbul, then home landing in Chicago about 1730 hours tomorrow. Some of the team do not have flights until Monday; therefore, they will remain in Chicago overnight. The Michigan members of the team will have about a 2-hour drive to their homes in southwest Michigan but will get the other team members settled with hotel accommodations before heading out. Please know that each person on the team appreciates your prayers and the many ways you have supported this team. God says in
I Samuel 30:24 that, although you did not go, you share in the reward of what this team accomplished for the Kingdom (“And who will listen to you in this matter? For as is the share of the one who goes down into the battle, so shall be the share of the one who stays by the baggage; they shall share alike.”). Although small in size with only 8 members, it has been a strong and unified group who flowed together as they felt the Spirit was leading and many lives were touched and changed for eternity because these 8 individuals marched to the cadence of God’s calling. After giving them a few days to rest and recuperate, I hope you take the opportunity to hear all that God told them, showed them and did through them. It is their story to tell but it is a story about the goodness of our God and definitely one worth hearing.
