Haiti Update: August 18, 2021

It is definitely “Go” time for the Team which means it is prayer time for all of us who love them, support them and keep things going here at home. We hope you know how much the Team values your prayers and support. Please share this website with others who might be interested in following the journey of this team and praying for them.
Andrew, a nurse from Canada, kicked us off this morning (8/19/2021) when he began his journey at about 10 am. The remaining team members will leave tomorrow from airports close to their homes and each arrives in West Palm Beach, Florida, within one hour of one another. We would like to thank the exceptional travel agent who accomplished that task! The Team will gather and be shuttled to Missionary Flights International in Pierce, Florida, where they will spend the night. Check out their overnight accommodations:

Saturday morning at about 8:05 am, the Team will leave Ft. Pierce for a short jaunt and brief landing in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, for official passport checking. Then load everyone back on the plane for a short one-hour flight to Les Cayes which is the location of the earthquake's epicenter and where we think our team will focus much of their ministry and medicine. Once on the ground, a precious local pastor will shuttle our team to connect with a Haitian physician who has had multiple conversations with Doc Sherry since last Sunday. They are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our team and medical supplies. Interpreters have already been arranged so introductions will be made, supplies will be unpacked and patients will be seen.
Prayer Requests:
-The health and safety of our team
-That the fees for 18 duffel bags of medical supplies will be waived by the airlines all the way to our destination
-Prayers for the Haitians and the Island of Haiti
-For team unity and cooperation
-Ministry opportunities
-Divine wisdom for team members with every patient seen
